THE PUBLICATION

The book History of Nazi Germany, Institutions, Human Rights. Course Materials on Public Administration, the Police and the Judiciary aims to provide perspectives on bringing together historic/civic and human rights education through an examination of the roles of public administration, the police and the judiciary in Nazi Germany. The preface introduces the background, theoretical approach and framework of the eponymous project. This is followed by personal perspectives on the project written by several of the people involved. Seven essays by historians then present the latest research findings and current issues from this new field of study.
At the core of the book are nine course modules that are presented with information on possible target groups, topics and teaching aids. The book comes with a CD containing selected course materials.
